Rose bush

I have wanted to grow roses in our yard for forever. My wonderful mother-in-law bought this bush for me and it is doing so well. It's doubled in size within a few months, that is a 6 foot trellis and it started out at about 2 ft.

Girlie

My girlie-girl loves purses. I guess every parent feels this way but she's just so adorable, I can't stand it!!!!! I love ya Madi!!

Good friends

My friend Jenn just came back from South Africa she has been there with Campus Outreach for almost seven years. She is back raising support for about six months and we are so glad.


And my friend Megan, who is now 5 months pregnant with a girl!!!! It's so fun to that we are pregnant at the same time!

Announcement!!!

Well Marco and I are happy to announce that we are PREGNANT!!!!!!!! We are so excited and fell so blessed. Our due date is April 17th! Madison is going to be a great big sister but we have a feeling that this is going to "Rock" her world just a little bit.

Growing

Well it's cute but getting a little small for her but I realized it is size 18 month.


Her favorite thing is to get me all wet now and she just laughs and laughs!

Itsy-bitsy Spider

Madison's favorite song right now is the Itsy-bitsy Spider. She makes us sing it over and over again. She has a Winnie the Pooh doll that plays songs and that is one of them. I'm just waiting for the batteries to die!!!!

Ethiopian Food

Marco's dad was stationed in Ethiopia when he was in the Navy and we found a great restaurant here in Charlotte that was pretty authentic. It's called Meskerem off of Kings Drive, you should check it out!

New Dress

Madison got this adorable dress from Marco's Aunt Sue. Isn't she cute in it. She is so girlie and I love it!!! Thanks Aunt Sue!

Gamma & Pop-Pop

We were so glad that Marco's mom and dad came to visit us this weekend. Marco and his dad were busy installing ceiling fans, replacing our kitchen faucet, repairing roof shingles and changing out shower fixtures this weekend. Thanks for all your hard work!!

Back yard surprise

We had a little bunny visitor in our back yard. It is so adorable and it really likes eating our grass under our table near the patio. Madison calls it a "aaaa beee" and knocks on the window till we go out to see it! I guess by now it knows we aren't going to hurt it and let me get close enough to take a picture.

Baby

Madison loves her baby doll so much! She holds her all the time, feeds here and wants her diaper changed when she has her own diaper changed. She is actually playing with her right now and yes, in the top picture she is smothering her, we are working on that!!

Well I guess I didn't get the memo but it was Hawaiian theme night for Madison and her Grammy!

Break In

Well sorry it has been so long since I have updated our blog but are house was broken into a couple of weeks ago and our computer was stolen. We are all OK which is the most important thing, Praise the Lord! We now have a Security System and I can relax a little bit. Thanks for every one's prayers and concern. I'll get some more recent pic's of Madi as soon as I figure out this new computer.
