1st Movie

I took the kids to the $1 summer movies for the 1st time! Madi loved it and we thankfully had gone with a group of friends so she could stay in the theater and watch all of it. Drew lasted about 30 min. which is longer than I thought but we walked around in the lobby pretty much the rest of the time. Oh well it was worth a shot! His reaction below is because I said, "You want to go back in and watch the movie." Obviously he didn't!!!

B-day lunch!

We picked Marco up at work for a birthday lunch at Chick-fil-a! The Manager came by and hooked him up with a special brownie a-la-mode!






Madison wanted to feed Marco! She was laughing so hard!

We had fun celebrating Marco's birthday on Sunday since he has class on Monday night! We were so glad my mom could join us and as usual Madison blew the candles out. The likely hood of anyone blowing out their own candles in the near future is slim to none, it's so cute though.

Happy Birthday to the best husband & father in the whole world!! We love you so much and are thankful for everyday of your life! May this year ahead be the best yet!

Turned around!

Our big boy is finally able to turn around in his car seat! He's so proud of himself & we are all excited! He seems to enjoy riding around so much better!

He also LOVES his soy milk!!! He thinks it's funny to hold it in his mouth with shake it like a dog toy! Boys crack me up!

I got 9 inches cut off, sending it to Pantene's Beautiful Lengths program to help make a wig for someone! Donating it in honor of my grandmother and two friends, Carley Naramore & Betty Hough who are breast cancer survivors!

1st Words!

Drew has started babbling more he says, Daddy, Hi, Bob(?) & Bap-el (apple)! He can say Mama but it's usually when he's hungry or frustrated, if I ask him to say it he shakes his head no and says, Da-ddy!!!

I know it doesn't look that different but it is so much easier to fix when the ends are all neatly trimmed up! She did a fabulous job being still this time and listening to the lady!!! She even wore the smock this time!!!! I'm so proud of my big girl!!

More funny Madi!

-Madi said, "Mom figh-hive" instead of high-five!
-Madison's preschool teacher asked her where she was going to go in her car during gym time and she said, "No where, I don't have a GPS!" Her teacher didn't know three yr. old's knew about GPS's! Surprise ours does!
-One of Drew's only defense tactics is pulling Madison's hair, which is quite effective I might add. So today Madi says, "Mommy can you tell Drew to be nice to my hair!"

They found Marco's old Elon College hat! Now it's Elon University. Madi kept putting it on backwards or to the side and saying "Yo"!!

Fire trucks & doughnuts!

We went to walk in the park that's right across from a fire station. They were pulling out one of the trucks to check the ladder and Drew was totally zoned in!!! He wouldn't even turn his head for me to take this pic!



Then we went & got a treat at Dunkin Donuts! Pink sprinkles make our little girl so happy!!
