Gum

Madison finally convinced me to let her try some gum. I have been holding off for as long as possible because the thought of gum in her hair is very frightening!!! Plus I figured she would forget and just swallow it, instead of throw it away. So I pulled her hair back in a pony tail and as soon as she put it in her mouth she spit it right back out! Guess I don't need to worry about that again for a while!!! Kids.......you just never know!!!!

Merry Christmas!

I love Christmas! It's definitely my favorite holiday! We hope that you and your family have a wonderful Christmas! Christ is the greatest gift God has ever given and definitely the best present to ever be received! Thank you God for sending your One and Only Son!

The kids had sooooooooo much fun opening presents this morning! How fun is it to see Christmas through the eyes of a child, I love it!!!

True surprise and excitement!

Grammy (Shannon's mom) came and slept over Christmas Eve, so she was here to see how excited the kids were when they woke up!!!

The white spot on Drew's mouth was a weird flash from the camera or something.

Madi made a beautiful picture frame for us at Preschool and it was so cute because she had already forgotten what she made us and was just as excited to see it as we were!!

She absolutely adored this dog puzzle, we have put it together several time already, you just never know what their going to gravitate toward but it's funny when it's usually the inexpensive presents.

Madi's version of C-mas songs!

Madison is hysterical singing Christmas songs this year. She knows some of the words but most of them she just makes up as she goes.
For Angels we have heard on high, it's Angels we have heard their noise and the, in excelsis Deo part she sings, N-L-L-C-C-O!!!
Silent Night, instead of sleep in heavenly peace she says, sleep & read in bed (??).
And in Jingle Bells she still sings, Oprah fun it is to ride, instead of Oh what fun!

Drew is learning new words all the time. He just gets some of them confused. Every time he wants me to pick him up now he says, "Down!!!" It's so cute I don't want to correct him but I also don't want him to be directionally challenged later in life!

Shane & Shane were amazing live!!! We already new their voices were incredible but they are truly extremely talented! Their harmonies are crazy good! They did a good mix of their new Christmas album and their other songs.

The concert was at a church in Uptown that was over 100 years old, it was gorgeous!

Visiting Santa!

Madison has one other picture with Santa when she was 15 months old but that was the last time she would even go to see Santa. She kept wavering back and forth about going to see him this year but she finally decided she would "help Drew". Well he was scared too, except to give Santa a high five and then Madison wouldn't go near him so I had to get in the picture! I'm sure you know how excited I was about that. We wish Madi wasn't looking away but it was the best of the pic's they took!

Tuesday Madison's preschool class had a feast and short concert for the parents at school. Marco wasn't originally going to be able to make it but made an extra special effort to be there for his little Indian princess (or
In-dent as Madi called it). He is the best daddy in the world! She and her class did a great job with their songs! We are so thankful for you sweetie!
