Madi-ism's!!!!

-Madison said, "Mommy look my cup has Shhee-shells" (Sea shells) It was so cute I made her repeat it at least 10x & it got funnier every time!!! (I wish you could hear this stuff, it's probably not as funny reading it)
-She was learning a new memory verse from Proverbs except she couldn't say it, she kept saying "Problems"
Me: No sweetie Prov-erbs, say Prov-
Madi: Prov-
Me: -erbs
Madi:-erbs
Me: Proverbs
Madi: Problems
Me: Yeah we've got a problem all right!
-Marco took us to get a McDonald's treat and told Madi she could get whatever she wanted and she said, "That's cause I'm a princess"
She's only 3 but she's got it all figured out!

We had a great time celebrating my Mom's B-day! Madison especially enjoyed opening presents FOR Grammy!

When Marco said let's go water the Hibiscus, Madison said the hot biscuit?!? And it stuck cause it was so cute we never corrected her!

Lately the kids are figuring out how to play together without hurting each other or themselves, I think 3 out of 5 times isn't to bad! I keep reminding Madison that some day Drew will be bigger than her though. My little brother is 6'1"!!!!!


Although it's hard to see through ALL the hair she is smiling too!!!!

Happy Father's Day!

We want to wish a very Happy Father's Day to all the dad's but especially our dad's, Don Lehmer & Dave Forrest! We love you!

Also I have to say that Marco is an absolutely fabulous dad, he is strong yet loving, firm yet sensitive, caring, fun, really takes time for the kids & they just adore him!!! Drew calls him Daa-E now it's so cute! We love you Marco daddy (as Madison says!)

Family Reunion!

Marco's parents live in Wilmington & we had a gathering there with his dad's side of the family. It was a blast with lots of sun, great food & laughs! There were 12 adults & 8 kids!!!

She's cracking me up!

-For some reason Madison was singing Jingle Bells @ lunch & she gets to the "Oh what fun it is" part but instead she sings, "Oprah fun it is" & stops, looks at me completely serious and says, "Oprah's in this song"!!!!! After I told her no & what the real lyrics were, we both couldn't stop laughing!
-Madi & I were talking about Marco & I said, "Daddy's little girl" and she said, "No mommy, daddy's not a little girl!"

I hope these are funny to you guys but I post them really so I don't forget all the cute things she says, it is just going by so fast! What a blessing the kids are to us!!!

Windshield

Driving to playgroup the other day something, I'm still not sure what, hit our windshield & made this huge spider web crack! But we just got it fixed, the guy even came to the house & replaced it in less than 45 min!!! That might be the easiest and most hassle free repair I've ever had done!

Madison being Madison

-Madison likes to call Marco & I by our 1st names cause she thinks it's funny, so we obviously we tell her she has to say Daddy/Mommy. So the other day she smiled really big & said, "Daddy Polo, Daddy Polo"!

-Before her nap she asked,
Madi: Mommy can we go to the playground today?
Me: We'll see honey.
Madi: OK, well can you figure it out? How about let's talk about it...Yeah let's go to the playground, that'd be good!
So much for talking about it!

-I'm trying to get her to try new foods she's never had before and I asked her to taste some turnip greens.
Madi: No, I don't like them
Me: How do you know you've never tried them
Madi: Cause I don't like them, see, I don't!!!
Me: Could you please just taste them?
Madi: No, I don't like them, Yep, No I don't!!!
With that kind of logic, I couldn't argue =)
