Haircuts!

So Drew's curls were starting to look like a mullet and in one week I had three people ask, "Is that a boy?" or "That's a boy right?" Marco was obviously less than thrilled with that so it was time for a haircut.

I think it still looks so cute though and it still curls up on the ends some so we can always let it grow out again.

My mom did a great job cutting Madi's hair, probably about three inches. It is dramatically easier to take care of and she likes that it takes less time to brush, etc. too!

-Madison was riding on a scooter and asked, "Mommy which way should I turn, this way or that way", as she pointed left and right. I said, "Go left." Madi shook her head and said, "No there's too much traffic that way!"

-She was praying at dinner and said, "Thank you God for the pretty sky and birds and the beautiful rainbows, and God help Drew to obey and do what he's suppose to, Amen!!!"
-Madi announced to me one morning, "I don't have to go to work today Mommy! My boss said I don't have to go, so I'm not going, maybe tomorrow but really not today. No work for me!" Where does she get this stuff from?

Helper

Marco was up stairs with Drew and he decided to be a big helper and take all of his clothes out of his drawers and dump them over the gate! I guess to a Twenty-two month old it would not only be fun but probably seem helpful!

Sweet Frog!

We absolutely love this frozen yogurt place, Madi asks to go there all the time. I was so excited to find out they have several non-dairy options for Drew, he loved it too. We are definitely Sweet Frog fans!

Washing cars!

I forgot I had taken these pictures when it was in the 70's a couple of weekends ago. Drew was soaking wet but had so much fun helping daddy! It's so sweet that the tradition continues, Marco use to wash and detail the cars with his dad too.

-My phone was ringing and Madi handed it to me and said, "I think it's your email's calling!"
-"I'm all over that!" was the response I got from her when I asked her to do something. The result was she didn't do what I asked so I guess she meant to say I'm over that!
-There's a little boys kissing on Madi at school so I asked her what she thought about that, "Oh, I don't care. (Pause) He's gonna be at school, right? I mean if he kisses me I'll just push him away. (Pause) Mom, is he gonna be at school tomorrow?" Glad she doesn't care, Ha!!!!!

I am so proud of Madison, she can do the fireman's pole all by herself!

She is pushing all her imaginary friends, yes all the swings are going at the same time as she keeps running down the row!

I realize this blog is mostly about the kiddos, who we love and adore but I need to plug us in here and there every once and a while!!
Marco and I had a great time at P.F. Chang's, their food is soooo good!! And then we went to see the movie Courageous! It was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time, we would highly recommend it!
