Baby Moon!

Marco and I were so blessed to be able to get away for a short but fun Baby Moon this weekend. A friend of a friend had a beautiful Lake House that we got to use for free!!!!! And my Mom stayed with little Miss Madison which was so great! She loves her Grammy!

The one thing we didn't plan for was the snow that started when we were leaving. We left anyway because it was only an hour away and wasn't sticking at all. Little did we know that we would almost slide off the road 4x and get there 4 1/2 hrs. later! At one point we were totally stopped for over an hour because of an 18 wheeler that started to jack knife and blocked the road. There was a point when we thought we were going to be stuck on the side of the road for the night. Thankfully the local authorities showed up and when Marco mentioned that I was 7 months pregnant and have Diabetes, the Sheriff came to help push us out to an alternate route and personally escorted us to where we needed to go!





That is as far as we could see about 100 ft. in front of us!

It was a lot easier to appreciate it in the day light when we were safe and had a warm place to stay!




Once we got there safely it was a wonderful chance to talk, connect and get some good sleep before baby boy comes! We are not going to have many more opportunities like this for a long time! I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful husband who is so amazing! I enjoyed our time honey! Love ya!
