He's OK!

Marco is OK but was in a car accident leaving work last tonight & his car is likely totaled. So for now we are down to one car. The accident wasn't his fault, a woman ran a (very, very) red light and hit him. Pray for her too, her husband was really mad, yelling at her as soon as he saw her! I didn't think I would be hugging/consoling the woman who caused Marco to be in an accident! It makes me remember what is really important God, His Word, family/friends and the souls of men!

Her own Frappe'!!!!

We made a run to Starbucks and Madi was so excited to get a Frappe', decaf. of course =) One time she had some sweet tea and was up for 3 hrs. in the middle of the night! So we won't make that mistake twice.
Drew just wanted to keep running around the fountain & obviously didn't want to be in the last picture!

Things I never said before I was a mom:

-Did I eat lunch today?
-Is that snot on my shirt?
-No, don't eat that bug!
-Did I brush my teeth this morning?
-Is that poop on my shirt?
-Don't put your hands in the toilet!
-Is that permanent marker on your face?
-Why did you take all 250 tissues out of the box?
-Is that poop on the floor?
-No, the white window seat is not a blank canvas!
-Who put these new, clean diapers in the trash?
-Is that poop all over your bed?

But my favorites are:
-I love my daughter & son!
-I'm so proud of my kids!
-Being a Mom is the best job I've ever had!
-Our children are a blessing from the Lord!

Birthday lunch!

At the end of our getaway we meet up with Marco's mom, sister, her kids and our sweet babies (who we missed so much)! We went to Fuddruckers to celebrate Emma's birthday! The manager was so sweet to bring Emma a special dessert but announced over the loud speaker, "Happy Birthday Emily"! The kids were so confused they kept saying, "Who's Emily?"
And Jack was so sweet to share his hat with Drew!

Potty mouth

-Madison always mispronounces Pluto (the dog on Mickey Mouse, not the planet, we aren't that advanced), she always changes how she says it, today it was "Poop-o"!!!
-She was pretending to read a book and she said, "Wendy and Pee-pee Pan (Peter Pan)" What a potty mouth =)

Getaway!

Marco and I had a fabulous Anniversary getaway weekend in Myrtle Beach! It was the 1st time I had ever been away from Drew. The kids did great with Gamma & Pop-pop, we appreciate so much that they watched them! 1st couple of pictures are at Barefoot landing and then at our hotel. Last pic's are out to eat at the Giant Crab, it was super delicious, we highly recommend it!!!
If Marco seems posed in these pictures it's cause I made him take them to remember our time alone!!! I realized through the years how many pictures there are of the kids and so few of us, usually I don't want pic's of me but lately Madison keeps asking, "Mommy where are you (in this picture)? Where you there?" Yes sweetie, mommy is taking the pictures.

Braid!

Madison finally let me braid her hair. Not all of it, "Just the top Mom"! So cute and out of her face!!!

8th Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband!! I can't believe it's been 8 yrs. already! I love you so much and I am so grateful for everyday! Thank you for all your love and support! You are amazing!!!!

Thanks for the beautiful roses, you know their my favorite! Madison thought they were hers when Marco brought them home for me.....she kept saying, "Thanks for the flowers dad. Thanks for our roses!" Well at least she included me the "our" =)

The box!

I'm not sure why but Drew loves to get in the toy boxes! The only problem is once he's in he doesn't know how to get out. I kept asking him if he wanted to get out. He just looked around like, well maybe but still wouldn't ask for help. Then another minute went by and he realized he did in fact want to leave and could probably use some assistance. This whole cycle repeated itself several times but at this age their just so stinkin' cute, so it's OK!

I thought the funny part was taking a picture of Madi who had drawn all over her face & hands with marker but check out monkey boy in the back ground!

By the way, we have had to rearrange the furniture in the living room 3x already this week to keep "the climber" safe! I think when Madison was his age, I only had to move one picture, I know, I know......He's all boy!!!!! (and I love it!)

Party!

Madison had a great time at a friends B-day party! They made it a Minnie mouse carnival with popcorn, cotton candy, corn dogs & tons of games & Madison adored it. This was the 1st time she has wanted to do a pinata but of course wouldn't put the blind fold on! She really whacked it pretty hard.

1st Cleats!!

Our little princess is going to start soccer in the fall and we picked out her 1st pair of cleats, pink & black of course =) I'm not sure who was more excited, Madison or Marco. And of course we had to get the pink shin guards and a pink ball to match!!!

American Idol Concert!

Marco's company gave us free tickets, it was amazing! My favorites from the season were Pia & Lauren but I thought they were even better live!

Madi-ism's!!!!

-We have a couple of wild bunnies we see every once and while in our back yard and I asked Madison to go sit down to eat breakfast. She said, "OK! But can we pause the bunny?" Because we have a DVR that pauses live T.V.
-From the other room I hear, "NO, NO Drew, don't take my phone, I'm emailing pictures!" Technology has already over taken her!!
-Madison's latest comment about Drew, "He's a fascinating boy!"
-We are planning a Get away and Madison prayed, "God give Mommy & Daddy a good
